Where Expolink came from
Having run a cleaning business employing over 300 people (subsequently sold in 1998), Expolink Software was founded by David Crook in 1997 to sell StaffCheck to assist other cleaning contractors achieve the savings and quality improvements that he had obtained by controlling time and attendance within his cleaning business. In 2001 Expolink acquired the Illingworth Partnership - a specialist facilities management software provider to local authorities, NHS trusts, major cleaning and FM organisations – to strengthen Expolink's product range. David Illingworth's background, similar to David Crook's, was within the cleaning and FM industry and to this day this extensive knowledge of the industry drives product development and is what makes Expolink stand apart.
Since the Illingworth Partnership acquisition, Expolink has grown from strength to strength, developing and securing numerous contracts in both the public and private sectors.
With over 1000 customer sites, Expolink are renowned for workforce management, mobile data collection, time and attendance, and quality monitoring software and are partners of choice for major facilities management and cleaning contractors, a third of all hospitals, numerous businesses throughout the UK, and have a fast-developing reseller channel.
