In 2005 Expolink was awarded Beacon status, an award given to companies who demonstrate outstanding achievement across a range of criteria, including improvements in productivity and performance, profitability, work culture and innovation. Beacon Companies are identified as the South West region’s top performing businesses.
Beacon South West is a key business initiative of the region’s Regional Development Agency (SWRDA); it acknowledges and brings together some of the area’s most forward thinking and ambitious companies from a diverse range of industries, with a proven track record of success, to showcase good practice, share ideas and exchange experiences and to promote success and spearhead the growth of the region.
Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a measure of how well a company and its employees treat customers. It is both a loyalty metric and a discipline for using customer feedback to fuel profitable growth in your business. Developed by Bain & Company, Satmetrix and Fred Reichheld, NPS is widely accepted as a simple measure of customer advocacy and likelihood to refer friends or colleagues, and has been embraced by leading companies worldwide as the standard for measuring and improving customer loyalty.
Expolink has just started measuring its own NPS score and is putting in place changes to business processes, products and service levels in direct response to the feedback received. Today, we have an NPS of 26%, which compares very well with a UK industry average of just 7%. Our goal is to reach the heady heights of 50% over the coming years, by continuing to listen to and respond to customer feedback.
As a customer of Expolink, you will receive regular requests for feedback; and we will always respond to you with our resulting actions. In other words, tell us what you like and what you don’t like; and we’ll take the appropriate action.
Net Promoter® is a registered trade mark of Bain & Company, Satmetrix and Fred Reichheld and you can learn more about this excellent metric by visiting clicking here.
We were also delighted to be a finalist in the Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards in 2005 for Best Business Culture and the NatWest Award for Innovation and Growth. Both of these are hotly contested prizes, with over 200 companies entering the competition.
Expolink’s founder David Crook believes there is a very good reason for our on-going success: “Our biggest strength is undoubtedly our open-minded, committed and energetic team of colleagues who constantly strive towards taking our business further and exceeding the expectations of our customers.”
