This means Expolink can create either your own virtual database specific to the needs of your organisations, or alternatively you can use space on a shared database. The shared database is partitioned to ensure total security and this solution tends to be more cost effective for our clients it all boils down to how much storage space you require as a business!
The incident and security management system itself relies on having an SQL database (standard 2008 R2 edition) along with Windows Server 2008 Enterprise and IIS Server software. The solution also uses Crystal to compile statistical reports and is coded using ASPX.NET.
